  4. =====  Function Help - [Q]uick Message Scan  ==========================

  6.   The quick message scan selection will display only the message number
  7.   and subject matter of the active messages on your screen.
  8.  
  9.   Like the [R]ead function, you will be asked to select the starting
  10.   message number of where the quick scan is to begin.  If there are
  11.   any killed messages between the starting number you select and the
  12.   highest message number on the board, they will not appear on your
  13.   screen.

  15.   After doing your quick scan, you can [R]ead just those messages that
  16.   are of interest to you as indicated by the subject matter.
  17.  
  18.   You can scan in reverse order if desired by entering the highest
  19.   number message on the board followed by a "-" sign.
